Observations
Two figures only, both from a World Customs Organization news item about Zambia's time release study: the average clearance and release time before the study's recommendations, and the time by March 2020. The study report was not read and later figures were not found.

| Mar 2020 | imports into Zambia | average clearance and release time | 2 to 3 days | not defined by the news item (an average; the steps included are not stated) | "average clearance and release times were already reduced from 5-6 days to 2-3 days by March 2020"wording checked against the document |
How to read these figures
- The study covered imports only. The WCO item gives the earlier figure without a period; the study was carried out in December 2019 and its first recommendations were issued in January 2020. These are clearance and release times, not crossing times, and are not comparable with the Beitbridge or Kazungula figures.
